TeacherCast was created in the summer of 2011 with the mission of being a totally free Professional Development tool for educators. Please notice that you do not see any adds on our website. Our funding relies completely on the generous danations from people like YOU. It takes a lot of money to create and maintain a FREE website/podcast/app/screencast environment and make it be as professional as possible.

Do you record your podcasts or are they live?
All of our podcasts are prerecorded. It usually takes a few days for us to edit and distribute the show once it is recorded. Our shows are then sent to your viewing pleasure on iTunes and Stitcher.
How do we record a podcast?
We record our podcasts through Skype. We recommend that you be in a quiet room with little distraction and that you have a microphone and headphones while recording. This will take away any echo or other distracting noises. All podcasts are audio.
